The Arab-Andalusian Orchestra of Anjou took part, alongside other artists such as Titi Robin, in a solidarity evening for the victims of the earthquake in Morocco, organized by the Angers-based association Al Amal.

The orchestra is made up of artists from the region and is led by Franco-Palestinian musician Ramzi Aburedwan, within an intergenerational and multicultural dynamic. The ensemble draws on a wide repertoire ranging from the Levant (Middle East) to Eastern Europe, passing through Africa and Asia.

La chanteuse franco-algérienne Beihdja Rahal et l’Orchestre arabo-andalou de l’Anjou dirigé par le musicien franco-palestinien Ramzi Aburedwan, nous invitent à la découverte de pièces vocales et instrumentales ancestrales, les « Noubas ».

L’Orchestre est en résidence à la MPT Monplaisir du 17 au 19 mars 2022 et donne son premier concert à cette occasion. Dirigé par Ramzi Aburedwan, l’Orchestre arabo-andalou est constitué de plus d’une vingtaine d’artistes de l’Anjou, amateurs et professionnels, de tous âge, dans une dynamique intergénérationnelle et multiculturelle.
